Jay Maguire is the founder of Parents and Alumni for Student Safety (PASS), which he created in response to a spike in hazing deaths across the country. Maguire is a University of Texas at Austin alum and a faculty advisor to UT’s Zeta Psi fraternity. In 2005, he formed Maguire Strategies, a boutique government affairs shop with clients in Florida, Texas and Washington, D.C. and strategic partnerships with lobby shops and law firms in several capital cities. He provides direct legislative advocacy, strategic advice, regulatory compliance and business development services.
