Lisa Scheps is the Interim Executive Director and co-founder of Transgender Education Network of Texas. She is a longtime activist and has served on the boards of Equality Texas and National Center for Transgender Equality among others. She is the former chair of the Austin Human Rights Commission and is a trainer with the Anti-defamation League. Lisa is also the Creative Director of Ground Floor Theatre in Austin, TX.
