Bob Carey is Chief Advocacy Officer for the Independence Fund. He retired from the US Navy as a Captain after 29 years of active and Reserve duty, serving as a both Surface Warfare Officer and Naval Flight Officer. He flew more than 30 combat missions during Desert Storm and was recalled to active duty four times since 9/11.
