Sister Bernadine Reyes, Order of St. Benedict, was born in Riviera, Texas. She entered the Benedictine Sisters of Boerne as a postulant in 1964 after graduating from nursing school in Corpus Christi. Her work has focused on Hispanic outreach and support for immigrants and the poor in the Boerne area.
