Weston Martinez, a fourth-generation Texan, is a conservative grassroots activist. Martinez has served as an elected member of the State Republican Executive Committee and is a current Texas Real Estate Commissioner, appointed by Gov. Rick Perry and now serving under Gov. Greg Abbott. He most recently ran in the Republican primary for the Texas Railroad Commission.
